Hi! I AM SO GLAD TO SEE you HERE.

Dance has brought me so much joy over the years and educated me on dedication, excellence, and exploration. At 5 years old, I was one of many Indian-American daughters learning Bharatanatyam and Bollywood in aunties’ garages. I then forayed into Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical as a high-schooler, spending years performing with my Varsity dance team on community stages.

My passion for dance bloomed, and with it, a competitive spirit. I began to travel the U.S. as a competitive Latin ballroom dancer, eventually becoming a national champion and international vice-champion in Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. I moved to New York, auditioned into two Hip-Hop dance teams, and soon fell in love with social dance styles like Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Voted captain of Columbia University’s Latin dance team Sabor, I began to choreograph regularly and taught workshops with hundreds of students.

I discovered a love of teaching beginners to dance and watching them surprise themselves. Nothing is more gratifying than teaching a person something they thought they could never do, and seeing the lightbulb go on in their heads that it wasn’t so hard at all!

Last year, I choreographed the first dance for a beautiful Napa Valley wedding reception. The entire process was electrifying. I poured energy, thought, and time in because I loved what I was doing. I realized choreographing wedding dances is something I love to do and have an aptitude for, and what bigger honor than to create probably the most important dance in a person’s lifetime!

I know how stressful wedding planning is. That’s why it means so much to me to contribute joy to the process – you can relax and trust the details to me. I’ll obsess over the music cut, design choreography to wow the crowd, tailor every step to how you look most graceful, teach the dance to make it feel simple, and refine your movements to make you feel stunning and confident as you make that stage yours.

If you’d like to work together, drop me a line!
